Crisp Custard Biscuits

225g self-raising flour
225g butter
100g sugar
2 tablespoons custard powder

Cream butter and sugar (best to use a mixer). Add flour and custard powder. Mix well with mixer until it goes like pastry dough. Roll into long fat sausage, about 5cm (2") in diameter. Cut into slices. Bake on a tray until golden brown.

Bake at 160-170°C for 20-30 minutes.
