Kathryn Verity was born on 5th March 1997. Although she had a heartbeat, her lungs weren't ready and she never breathed. She died as we held her.

David Vaughan was born on 19th December 1997. He died before he was born.

Both Kathryn and David were born at only 21 weeks' gestation.

The photographs below were taken at the time of what would have been their birthdays, had they lived.

They are buried in a 'Baby Garden' part of the cemetery, close together and with other babies who didn't make it either.

They have an animated link to their page to reflect my firm belief that they are, in fact, more alive now than we are. They are doing what they were created to do - knowing and worshiping God. I look forward to seeing them again - when I too, am as alive as they are.
