Lassi

As far as I know, this originates in the Indian subcontinent. It is good to drink with spicy food, as the yogurt helps to cool it down. This is the 'sweet' version.

300ml natural yogurt
50g sugar
pinch salt
1 litre water
2 teaspoons lemon juice

Beat yogurt well. Add sugar and salt. Beat again. Add water. Dissolve sugar by stirring well. Add lemon juice.

Serve with ice
