Spaghetti Bolognese

Serves 4-6

500g minced beef
1 onion, chopped
1 green pepper, seeded and diced
100g mushrooms, chopped
400g can of chopped tomatoes
½ tsp garlic granules
1 tsp basil
1 tsp oregano
1 tsp marjoram
¼ tsp ground nutmeg
Black pepper
1 tsp HOT pepper sauce (avoid this if you don't want it 'hot')

Dry-fry the mince and onion. Drain off any excess fat. Add tomatoes, mushrooms, peppers and spices. Bring to the boil and simmer for about half an hour.

Serve with spaghetti or other pasta.
